Coronado High School NJROTC Award Ceremony

Coronado High School NJROTC Award Ceremony

This is a photo from my last JROTC award ceremony of the 2017 season. I got to present a medal on behalf of the San Diego DAR chaper to one very accomplished young lady at this event.

These students were definitely the most spirited bunch of the season! These young people balance both schoolwork and their training with the NJROTC and are the next generation of military leaders. Coronado High School is special to me because it has a very high military family population and its a Navy town (I'm a sailor's daughter)!

I am so proud to be a member of the San Diego Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and honored to be able to heap a little well deserved praise on one of the fine students.
